He's Here!

Our baby boy, Carter, arrived on July 20 at 10:44 am.  He was 6 pounds 5 ounces and 19 inches long and has a full head of beautiful reddish-brownish hair!  I had heard at one point that the more acid refulx/heartburn an expecting mother has, the more hair the baby will have... let's just say I always kept a bottle of tums with me wherever I went!  

We have been blessed to have such a healthy, happy baby!  He is very patient with his mom and dad as we're still learning.  I am loving the joys of being a mother and Chris is in heaven with his son; he's a very proud dad! 

We got to come home Friday.  Things are a whole lot different in our house now than when it was just the two of us!  We've had lots of family and friends swing by to meet Carter and have to thank everyone for their warm wishes and support; we have amazing friends and family!

Sometimes your timing can't be more perfect when these kinds of things happen.  I laid Carter on his boppy pillow for the first time when he was sleeping and just so happened to catch these cute grins! We absolutely love this boy!
